It's HOT here in the Lowcountry and if you are moving your body outdoors you are very aware of this already. Post workout recovery using nutrition is important but sometimes you may not feel hungry right away. The heat makes that even more likely! I've been playing around with different post work out nutrition options that have everything you need (carbs + protein + electrolytes) and will also help to COOL you down and came up with--the Peaches & Cream Recovery Popsicle!
What you need⬇️
🌀 Vanilla Yogurt--
Use @siggisdairy or a Greek yogurt to get more protein in
🌀 Peaches- frozen or fresh will work
🌀 Tailwind Nutrition Vanilla Recovery Mix- carbs, protein and electrolytes
How to make it⬇️
1️⃣ Add equal parts yogurt + peaches + 1 packet of Tailwind Nutrition Vanilla Recovery Mix to the blender. I used about 2 cups yogurt + 2 cups peaches and got 8-10 popsicles
2️⃣Blend until smooth. Add water/milk if you need to thin it out
3️⃣ Pour into popsicle molds and freeze
4️⃣Grab one right after a HOT summer workout to help you cool down and get the carbs + protein + electrolytes that your body needs to start the recovery process
